Quad/Graphics to Install 5-color Presstek 75DI with Inline Aqueous Coater
Digital offset press investment has potential to strengthen manufacturing capabilities and enhance ability to deliver high-quality, short-run color printing.
Presstek, Inc., a leading supplier of digital offset printing solutions to the printing and communications industries, today announced that Quad/Graphics, one of the world’s largest commercial printers, will be purchasing a five-color Presstek 75DI digital offset press with an inline aqueous coater.

The Presstek 75DI is a highly automated 29” digital offset press that is available in 4- to 10-color configurations. It is available with a full range of productivity enhancing options, including an inline aqueous coater. The 75DI features support for 300 lpi and FM screening, 6-minute job-to-job turnover (including on-press plate imaging), and a small environmental footprint. The press prints up to 16,000 six-up sheets or 96,000 letter-sized pages per hour.
