Ricoh Partners with the MFI Group to Extend Access to Leading Sheetfed Production Printers Across Africa

Ricoh has announced a partnership with the MFI Group to make its range of sheetfed production printing devices available across 11 countries in West and Sub-Saharan Africa.

The partnership will see widespread access to the full commercial and industrial printing portfolio including the popular Ricoh Pro C5300 Series and the Ricoh Pro C7200X Series, as well as a range of direct to garment (DTG) and wide and large format devices. The increased availability will enable local Print Service Providers (PSPs) to harness greater production flexibility, higher print quality, and give them scope to broaden their service offering.

The partnership is part of Ricoh’s strategy to expand its presence in the African commercial and transactional printing market. Ricoh’s role in the partnership is that of technology and expertise supplier, while MFI brings its extensive market experience and presence across the continent.

Headquartered in Kenya since 1984, the MFI Group operates a technology, document solutions and professional print network across 18 countries in Africa. The company has a wealth of knowledge of every region and business vertical in which it operates, including Government, Education, Graphic Arts and NGOs, amongst others.
