MTEX NS Appoints Michael V. Ring as the New CEO
The only Iberian based technology integrator in the global digital printing space announces a new CEO and corporate identity.
Michael Ring took over the leadership of MTEX NS this week, in conjunction to the company introducing a new corporate image to the market. Elói Ferreira, founder and CEO of the company until this week, will be assuming the role of Executive President.
After a period of significant investments, extended over the last few years, MTEX NS is now positioned for a period of significant global expansion and business growth - one of the main reasons for the new CEO's integration.
Originally from North America, Ring has been living in Europe for the last four years and is a leading player in the adoption of digital technologies within the global print markets. Ring’s role will be to guide the company through this growth stage based on his 30 years ofindustry experiences and proven accomplishments. “Helping to define the next chapter of success for this nimble, entrepreneurial technology base company is extremely exciting for me and I am sure will be the highlight to my professional career.", explains the new CEO of MTEX NS.
Elói Ferreira, who founded the company in 2011, believes that "Michael's unique experience, combined with his in-depth knowledge of the digital labeling and management, makes him an exceptionally leader to embrace MTEX NS 'growth ambitions in the global marketplace". "He has a sense of purpose and passion for high performance and therefore I have no doubt that it will be a very valuable addition to our team," said the former CEO.
The now Executive President also noted that over the last decade MTEX NS has developed a strong reputation for quality and innovation and, particularly in the last year, successfully diversified and expanded its service offerings while continuing to expand its global presence to more than 40 countries on five continents”.
A NEW CORPORATE IDENTITY
Following its strategic reorganization earlier this year to better leverage itsbusiness, MTEX NS is also preparing to launch a new corporate brandidentity with a renewed logo and digital presence.
André Jacques, VP Sales & Marketing of the company, explains that the evolution of the brand identity, demonstrating the deep change that is occurring in the organization, is thebest decision, given that "the reputation and global notoriety created under the identity are a valuable resource, but it no longer accurately reflect the complex range of MTEX NS segments, such as Labeling, Packaging, Viscom and Textiles”.
"The evolution of the company’s name was the most appropriate strategic decision for us. While we wanted to accurately reflect our work on the new nomenclature, we also wanted to offer opportunities to market the organization in search of new opportunities for future growth and expansion", explains André Jacques.
Designed to work effortlessly across digital and physical channels, the new logo evokes afeeling of inspiration and the rightward-pointing arrow signify movement, positivity, speed — and velocity. The upward-pointing line represents the company’s international reach, while the two can be interpreted as a speaking trumpet loudly announcing our motto: “Where engineering breeds creativity”.
This branding reflects an organization that is in the process of reinvention and a legacy ofinnovation and quality that will also guarantee the opening of doors for the future.
