Flint Group Develops Quick-Drying, Ecologically Friendly Inks
    Flint Group Press Release

Novavit F918 SUPREME BIO is Flint Group’s fast-setting, ecologically friendly sheetfed ink series, recently made available in North America. Sold under the K+E brand, Novavit uses advanced technology to offer a big leap forward in environmentally friendly inks that enhance on-press performance.

Novavit F918 SUPREME BIO inks offer a number of unique benefits for sheetfed printers:

First, its fast drying properties can result in increased print output. Printers can run their presses at higher speeds, use perfecting presses without worry about set-off, and send printed materials to the bindery or finishing department after using minimal amounts of powder.
Secondly, the inks are ecologically friendly. Made with naturally replenishable vegetable oils, the inks emit lower VOCs and minimize any potential negative impact to the environment.
Finally, speed and environmental benefits haven’t compromised performance. Novavit F918 SUPREME BIO inks produce sharp dots, offer excellent ink/water balance, impart high color intensity, and perform well on numerous substrates. The inks are ideally suited for glossy coated papers and board. They also perform very well on matte coated and uncoated papers and board.

Doug Labertew, vice president and general manager of Flint Group’s sheetfed ink division, summarizes the benefits of Novavit F918 SUPREME BIO. “Press performance is enhanced, and print quality and productivity are improved, all with an eco-friendly ink.”
