Salt Lake City-based FranklinCovey Products and AlphaGraphics, Inc. have taken the concept of custom day planners to a new level—now customers can go online to design and order their own one-of-a-kind planner pages. Using FranklinCovey's award-winning planning system and AlphaGraphics' advanced agOnline e-commerce solution and digital printing capabilities, the new Design Your Own (DYO) site allows customers to create their own planner pages by adding their own photos, customized designs and personal information. Once the planner design is complete, AlphaGraphics creates the planner using state-of-the-art digital printing technology. Planner pages are delivered within 10 business days.
The new Design Your Own Web site was launched October 28, 2008, and already more than 12,000 individuals have visited the site, creating more than 5,000 unique planners that have generated more than 150,000 preview proofs. The site, which was developed by AlphaGraphics, allows users to choose from a variety of options:
· Backgrounds—more than 50 new designs· Starting month—no need to wait for a new quarter or new year, start any month
· Dates—add days for celebration, tasks, goals, and they're securely saved for repeated use
· Daily Quotations—three categories of optional quotations
· Photos—Upload and use personal photos or choose from Franklin Covey's online photo library
· Format—Weekly, one-page-per-day or two-page-per-day formats, including left-hand friendly options, daily trackers and mini calendars
