Binding Industries Association Announces Award Competition for Suppliers
BIA Press Release

The Binding Industries Association (BIA), the world’s largest association for trade binderies, loose-leaf manufacturers, and suppliers to those industries, announced the return of the Feingold Awards.

The Feingold Awards began in 1992 as a tribute to Bill Feingold of Charles Leonard Inc., to honor products and processes that break new ground in the graphic finishing and loose-leaf manufacturing industries. These prestigious awards are considered to be the highest designation a supplier can receive from the binding community.

“It’s crucial to recognize quality and outstanding achievements from the supplier community” says Patricia Traynor, Vice President & Treasurer, Graphic Crafts Inc. “Suppliers bring life to projects, help with tough challenges, and advance the industry in which we work.”

The Feingold Awards are just the latest in a series of revitalized programs and services from the Binding Industries Association. Since late last year, the organization has seen an increase in membership of over 44%. A renewed focus on promoting members and educating the graphics arts community has been a central theme of the BIA.

Top supplier winners will be honored at the 2009 BIA Mid Management Conference May 3-6 at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, considered by many to be the preeminent conference for the binding industry.
