PandaDoc, the leading document automation software, today announced an expanded partnership with Quadient, a global leader in helping businesses create meaningful customer connections through digital and physical channels, to optimize and enable its newly remote workforce to continue business operations amid the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

As stay at home orders went into effect around the world, global productivity fell as companies adjusted to a home-based workforce that lacked basic office abilities such as printing and scanning documents. By quickly deploying PandaDoc as part of a robust technology stack that enabled collaboration and communication, Quadient sales reps were able to close the gap in productivity and maintain business continuity.

Quadient has been a PandaDoc enterprise partner and customer since 2016 with over 200 active company users and plans for departmental growth throughout its North American operations. Once the impacts of the world health crisis began, Quadient accelerated its PandaDoc deployment and more than doubled its active users in under 48 hours to support remote employees throughout the U.S. and Canada. Within the first five business days of switching to a remote workforce, Quadient sales reps sent over 220 contracts, successfully closing 40% of deals and effectively maintaining critical business operations at a time when sales could have suffered tremendously due to world events.

“At our core, PandaDoc and Quadient share a basic mission: help our customers communicate and connect with their customers. Using PandaDoc to send seamless communications to our customers helps us set the bar for our customer experience, which has been even more important as we adapt to the inability to close deals in person,” said Scott McKissack, Senior Manager CRM for Quadient. “Working hand-in-hand with PandaDoc as a partner to meet our needs has been instrumental, especially as we ramped up deployment exponentially during the onset of the COVID-19 crisis.”

Before the crisis, Quadient sales teams were the first to use PandaDoc to seamlessly create, send, and sign custom branded proposals, reducing their customer contract time-to-sign from four days to four hours. Sales teams particularly found analytics and real-time mobile updates within PandaDoc useful to know when and if follow up was necessary to close the deal. With remarkable success within their sales department, Quadient expanded its PandaDoc capabilities to its customer interactions center. Using native Salesforce integration, customer service representatives were able to improve response time to customer requests (such as change of address forms) from 10 days to real-time fulfillment.

“Early on, we saw the value of deploying PandaDoc across operations but wanted to do so systematically so we could customize the platform to our needs for each department and ensure we were using it to the best of its abilities,” said Steve Rakoczy, Chief Digital Officer for Quadient. “We’re incredibly impressed by the results our teams have experienced – from accelerated deals to improved customer experiences, PandaDoc has been an invaluable partner. Once the crisis hit, we knew we needed to accelerate our deployment of PandaDoc.”

“This crisis is going to fundamentally change how business is done in the long term. Not only will companies be more flexible with remote employees, customers will have also adapted and come to expect or prefer a certain level of virtual communication,” said Amanda Schmidt, VP Customer Success with PandaDoc. “Quadient understands this and took immediate steps to arm their employees with the best technology to help through this crisis and into the future. We’re proud of our trusted relationship with Quadient that allowed PandaDoc to be among the first tools the company deployed to maintain its business.”
